​As the head of an office responsible for all matters related to the Convention on the Rights of the Child, my participation in the Inter-Island Taskforce on Children’s Rights is both a duty and a personal commitment. I am deeply motivated to contribute to the well-being and protection of every child within our Kingdom.

 

In my previous work, I encountered many difficult and painful situations involving children. These experiences strengthened my conviction that we must do better, and that every child deserves safety, dignity, and opportunities to thrive.

 

Through this Taskforce, I am committed to advancing our shared goals, improving our systems, and ensuring that the rights of all children are upheld in practice.
