Over this program
Boards and Supervisory Boards operate in an increasingly complex environment of evolving regulations, heightened stakeholder expectations, emerging risks, and growing demands for accountability and transparency. While management runs the day-to-day operation, Boards and Supervisory Boards are expected to provide effective oversight, challenge key decisions, monitor performance, and ensure governance frameworks remain fit for purpose. Governance failures can lead to significant financial losses, regulatory intervention, reputational damage, and loss of stakeholder confidence, so board members are increasingly expected to demonstrate not only technical competence but also sound judgement, independence, integrity, and effective oversight. This Executive Governance Programme gives Board and Supervisory Board members a practical understanding of governance, compliance, risk oversight, and accountability through interactive discussions, case studies, and real-world scenarios. No specialist governance or compliance background is required.

Why attend?
Strong governance does not happen by accident, it requires informed oversight, independent judgement, effective challenge, and a clear understanding of accountability. As boards face increasing expectations from regulators, stakeholders, investors, and society, this programme helps participants strengthen their effectiveness as board members, improve oversight and governance capabilities, better understand governance, compliance, and integrity risks, ask more effective questions, and challenge management constructively. Participants leave with practical governance insights, increased confidence in their oversight responsibilities, and a stronger understanding of what effective governance looks like in today's complex environment.
