Over this program

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming how organisations operate, make decisions, and manage risk. From Generative AI tools and automated decision-making to advanced data analytics, AI is increasingly a strategic business enabler, while also introducing significant governance, compliance, cybersecurity, privacy, and ethical challenges. Boards and senior management are increasingly expected to understand not only AI's opportunities but also the risks of its use, and effective AI governance is no longer a technology issue alone, it is a boardroom responsibility. This executive-level training gives Supervisory Board members, Executive Board members, and senior executives a practical understanding of AI and its implications for governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance, focusing on the questions boards should be asking, the risks they should be overseeing, and the governance frameworks organisations should have in place. No technical AI knowledge is required.

Why attend?

AI is rapidly becoming a boardroom issue. Directors and executives are not expected to become AI experts — they are expected to provide effective oversight, ask the right questions, and ensure appropriate governance structures are in place. This training helps participants understand AI from a governance and strategic perspective, strengthen oversight of AI-related risks and opportunities, assess whether organisational safeguards are adequate, and support responsible, compliant AI adoption. Participants leave with a practical understanding of AI governance, greater confidence in their oversight responsibilities, and a framework for navigating one of the most significant governance challenges facing organisations today.
