Leerdoel

Niet alleen ‘Trust offices’, maar alle medewerkers van trustbedrijven hebben een grote verantwoordelijkheid. De totale klantbehandeling vereist een fundamentele juridische en fiscale deskundigheid en (basis)kennis van accounting. Ook wordt van medewerkers kennis verwacht over risk en compliance, ethische kwesties en gedrag en cultuur.

De training Trust Fundamentals vormt de perfecte basis om als trust Officer te starten. In deze interactieve training ga je praktisch aan de slag om de verschillende thema’s beter te verkennen en je inzicht te vergroten in relatie tot de dagelijkse praktijk. De training speelt in op de actualiteit en de ontwikkelingen die op de trustsector van invloed zijn. Ook de basis elementen van compliance voor Trust worden behandeld. Daarnaast ga je aan de slag met praktijkcases.

• Nieuwe FATF wet- en regelgeving voor Trustkantoren;
• Basis uitleg - Transactie Monitoring Trustkantoren;
• Praktijkcases behandeling en bespreking.

Trainer

De senior trainer, Renate Boelens, is ruim 40 jaar werkzaam geweest in de Trust sector en verzorgt voor 3Masters verschillende masterclasses, trainingen en incompany trajecten in Nederland en op de Caribische eilanden.

The module Trust Fundamentals is part of the Basic Training for Financial Services Experts program.

The Basic Training for Financial Services Experts has been developed specifically for people working in the financial services sector like entry-level staff members of Trust firms, Trust account managers, internal and external supervisors, compliance officers, legal officers, tax officers, accountants, etc. operating in the jurisdiction of Curaçao. The curriculum consists of several 4 hour, modules. It covers relevant areas such as compliance, tax and legal, governance and accounting.

In the program's current format each module stands on its own and therefore it's possible to register for individual modules instead of taking the complete program.

Upon completion of each session, participants will receive a certificate of participation.
